F.A.R.E. Verso un'architettura dell'educazione

A modern and contemporary artisan workshop, where space itself becomes a pedagogical tool. This is the idea that inspired F.A.R.E. Verso un’architettura dell’educazione, the project for the reconfiguration and enhancement of EduLab 1 and EduLab 2, the spaces of the MAXXI - National Museum of XXI Century Arts - where MAXXI Education develops educational workshops for 15 years of intense field activity.

F.A.R.E. is the resault of the collaboration between Enel Cuore Onlus, MAXXI Foundation - Education Office, Reggio Children Foundation - Loris Malaguzzi Center. The Labics Architecture Office of Rome was involved by the promoters to redefine and co-design a composite team with working spaces and new learning contexts. In fact, for over a year and a half, the staff of Fondazione Reggio Children, of Enel Cuore Onlus, of the Education Office of MAXXI, the architects of the Labics studio have worked together to develop a new prototype to test the possibilities of dedicated spaces to education in a museum context.
